Someone advertising on this site has actually been taken by this scam - which is bad news for the rest of us because it gives the scammer(s) encouragement to continue trying. So, if you get ANY offer of payment via a third-party using a cashier's cheque, allegedly originating from ANY country (including via a 'UK Agent'), and even if it's in impeccable english - have nothing to do with it!

FOR SALE: VIXEN GREAT POLARIS (GP) MOUNT. Excellent condition. With 
Synta drives to both axes, drive controller, battery pack and clutches. Two 
counterweights, approx 1.8kg each. Sturdy aluminium tripod with accessory tray. 
Rigid carrying case for mount, drives and counterweights. This mount is much 
more stable than the Chinese versions, and has much less periodic error. 
£400. Buyer collects or P&P at cost. 
 
WIN-CTC TELESCOPE CONTROLLER. Turns the above mount into a full GOTO with lots 
of useful features. Has fitted hand-guider unit. (See http://www.winctc.co.uk 
for full details). Excellent device! £230 inc P&P.  
 
ANTI-VIBRATION PADS. Celestron. Set of 3. These fit under the tripod feet and 
make a tremendous difference to damping time. £25 (P&P at cost) or free to

clones. Accessory bar for piggy-backing a camera. Home-made counterweight 
(useful when hanging cameras, etc off the back of the telescope). Celestron 
unit power finder (red-dot). Instruction Manual. Superb examlple of the genre.

FOCAL-REDUCER/FIELD-FLATTENER. Reduces focal ratio of SCT from f/10 to f/6.3, 
and flattens the field so that it is suitable for photography/CCD imaging. Fits 
to rear port of Celestron and Meade SCTs. Excellent condition. £120 (inc P&P). 
 
GUIDING EYEPIECE. Meade, 9mm Plossl (series 4000), cordless illuminated reticle 
with adjustable illumination (red). Reticle has parallel cross-web plus double 
bullseye and is fully adjustable for micrometric X-Y positioning, making it 
trivially easy to obtain a guide-star. £115 (inc P&P)
